Dr Naqvi is a an MSK Radiologist based at MFT. He has several years of teaching experience within the NWSOR
Dr Mohanad Kareem Aftan is a consultant musculoskeletal radiologist at the MFT. He is a former Musculoskeletal radiology fellow at Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, London. Dr Aftan has a special interest in tumour imaging and interventional musculoskeletal radiology.
Dr Qasim Butt is a musculoskeletal radiologist based at Manchester foundation NHS trust. He is passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge. He has served as a clinical teaching fellow for north east radiology academy prior to emigrating to north west. He has been involved with teaching anatomy to ST1s and core radiology focused on FRCR2a for ST2s in north west radiology academy.
Dr Rakeeb Patel is a a Musculoskeletal Radiologist based at MFT. He has undertaken a Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship at Liverpool University Hospitals. He is actively involved in teaching within the ST2 Radiology Academy and supporting local training of MSK radiology residents.
The two study days will comprise of concise lectures covering practical essentials of reporting MRI Knee and MRI Shoulder supplemented by case review covering the spectrum of knee and shoulder pathologies. Access to the cases will be provided 2 weeks prior to allow reviewing of imaging in advance, with emphasis on interactive discussion of key cases during the day.

- Shoulder roof addressing ACJ and related pathologies
- Rotator Cuff disease
- Long head of biceps and Rotator interval pathologies
